St
Brendan's GFC has a long association with
various Universities and Third Level Colleges
in London and the surrounding areas. Primarily with St Mary's
College, Strawberry Hill and Brunel
University. Liaison Officers are appointed
every year at the AGM.

2007:
Club players involved
with
St Mary’s College, Strawberry Hill
suffered disappointment in the British
Universities. They
were defeated in the quarter final by Aberdeen
University.
The scoreline was 2-3 to 0-4.
Club men involved were Simon Cullen, Padraig
Mitchell, Paul Malone, Killian Phair, Fergal
McArdle, Brendan Early, Cathal Donuhue, John
Mahon and Joe Coulter.
December
2006:
The following students from St Mary's,
Strawberry Hill were part of the St
Brendan's side that won the London Senior
Championship: Paul Malone (Louth), Simon
Cullen (Roscommon), Killian Phair (Cavan),
Fergal McArdle (Monaghan) and Padraig
Mitchell (Roscommon).
Simon 'Bobo' Cullen
received the Man of the Match award for the
Championship Final.
Killian Phair was top
scorer in the final.
February
2006:
Hard
luck to St Mary’s College, Strawberry Hill on
going for an unprecedented 5 in a row. They
were defeated in the quarter final by a point.
Club men involved were Simon Cullen, Padraig
Mitchell, Paul Malone, Charlie Harrison,
Brendan Early and Rory Grant.

2005:
Congratulations
to St Mary’s College, Strawberry Hill on
winning the British Universities for the
fourth year in a row. They defeated
Liverpool Hope University by scoreline of
1-8 to 0-10.
Club
members playing and involved were: Barry Solan
(captain), Billy Molloy, Cathal Smyth, John
Cafferkey, Simon Cullen, Paddy Bowles, Danny
O’Connor, Padraig Mitchell, John McKevitt, Charlie Harrison
and Paul Malone.
